The LAWA Fellowship Program is a long-term scholarship for women’s human rights lawyers from Africa. Fellows are enrolled to earn a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Georgetown University, participate in courses and a major graduate thesis, and may apply for specialized LL.M. or certificate options. The program runs approximately 14 months, including initial coursework and a subsequent LL.M. degree period.

Điều kiện tham gia
Must be a woman’s human rights lawyer from Africa and must hold an LL.B. or other law degree; preference for candidates living and working in Africa and without a Master’s Degree.
