Korean Language Speaking Contest 2025

The Korean Language Speaking Contest 2025 is a online competition organized by The Korea Times for non-Korean speakers to demonstrate Korean language skills. Participants submit a video in Korean and compete for awards and exclusive K-pop signed CDs, with categories for long-form and short-form presentations. Winners are announced through The Korea Times and the Howdy Korea YouTube channel.

Prizes include random draws for signed K-pop CDs from popular groups; top winners receive awards such as the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Award.

Open to foreign nationals who are not native Korean speakers and overseas Koreans who do not speak Korean as their first language. No age restrictions.

Submit a video in Korean (long-form or short-form) and complete the online application form by the deadline.
