London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) Research Fellowship 2026

Applications are invited for a Research Fellow position in the Department of Population Health to join the Hararghe Health Research Partnership between Haramaya University and LSHTM. The role involves analysis of perinatal mortality and its risk factors in eastern Hararghe, Ethiopia, with the post based at Haramaya University and funded by NIH. The appointment is part-time/fixed-term with salary and benefits described by LSHTM.

Salary, annual leave, pension, wellbeing days; based in Ethiopia

Candidates should have a postgraduate degree in demography, epidemiology or a related field and strong quantitative or data science skills; experience with health and demographic surveillance data collection and analysis in Ethiopia or a related setting; proficiency in R, Stata and/or other data management and statistical computing packages.
