UNICEF Gender Equity Officer Volunteer Opportunity in India 2026

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), through the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme, invites qualified professionals in India to apply for the position of Gender Equity Officer. This is a full-time national volunteer assignment based in New Delhi for 12 months, aimed at advancing gender equality, social inclusion, and equitable development for children, adolescents, and communities across India.

Applicants must be based in India with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Mass Communication, or related fields; a Master’s Degree is preferred. At least three years of professional experience at the national level in relevant areas is required, and fluency in English with working knowledge of Hindi is desirable.
