WTO Fish Fund Extends Deadline to 8 May 2026: Expanded Opportunity for Developing Nations to Access Up to USD 300,000 in Grants

The WTO Fish Fund invites WTO members to submit proposals for grants under two types: Project Preparation Grants up to 50,000 USD and Project Implementation Grants up to 300,000 USD. The initiative aims to provide financial and technical assistance to support capacity-building and governance related to fisheries subsidies implementation.

Grants provide financial support and technical assistance to strengthen fisheries governance, capacity-building, and implementation of fisheries subsidy disciplines.

Applicants must be WTO members that are developing countries or least-developed countries and must have formally accepted the Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies.
