Nova Media Fellowship 2026–2027

The Nova Media Fellowship 2026–2027 is a fully funded program that supports journalists and nonprofit newsrooms conducting reporting on health and well-being. Fellows receive time, editorial freedom, and funding to pursue ambitious, evidence-based storytelling with a focus on solution-oriented journalism over a one-year period.

A $60,000 grant distributed over 12 months, travel and conference stipends, editorial freedom, and opportunities to reach global audiences.

Professional journalists with a track record of publication, nonprofit newsrooms, or student-led newsrooms affiliated with educational institutions; applicants must reside in the United States throughout the fellowship period.
