Mila AI Policy Fellowship 2026–2027

The Mila AI Policy Fellowship is a six-month, part-time international fellowship hosted by Mila – Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute. It brings together interdisciplinary experts to develop policy briefs, organize roundtables, and contribute to global AI governance discussions. Fellows are paid and have travel costs covered for in-person components, with a hybrid format including virtual participation and optional Montreal-based activities.

Financial compensation, mentorship, global exposure, collaboration with Mila researchers, and opportunities to publish policy outputs.

Applicants must hold a graduate degree (Master’s or equivalent) in a relevant field and have demonstrated interdisciplinary or multi-stakeholder project experience; a strong project proposal is required.
