A fully funded PhD studentship offered through University College London (UCL) and the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) under the AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Partnership scheme. The project investigates migrant labour and its impact on British craft and design during the long eighteenth century, with involvement in museum collections and archives. The position provides supervision from both institutions, hands-on museum experience, and opportunities for professional development over four years (full-time, with part-time option).

Applicants should hold (or expect) a Master’s degree in a relevant field and show interest in the museum and heritage sector; both home and international applicants are eligible, with international students required to reside in the UK during the program.
