African Food Fellowship 2026

The African Food Fellowship 2026 is a leadership development program for mid-career professionals working in Africa’s food systems. It offers a 10-month online learning journey with in-person engagements, culminating in certification from partner institutions. Participants join a pan-African network and gain practical tools to influence policy, markets, and food systems in their country contexts.

Access to a 10-month structured leadership program, networking with 230+ fellows across Africa, mentorship from industry practitioners, learning on food systems operations, opportunities to design and implement impactful initiatives, and certification from Wageningen University & Research and Wasafiri Consulting.

Applicants must be mid-career professionals aged 27–50 years and actively working within food systems or related sectors, with leadership potential and commitment to impact; participants must be based in Kenya, Rwanda, or Zambia.
