Yale University Council on African Studies Visiting African Scholars Fellowship 2026

The Yale University Council on African Studies Visiting African Scholars Fellowship 2026 invites academics to teach a course on an African topic during the 2026-2027 academic year, while developing a research project. Fellows will deliver a public lecture to the Yale community and participate in the Council and MacMillan Center activities, supported by a stipend and research resources.

Stipend, research support, access to Yale library and resources, and affiliation with Yale University.

Open to academics holding full-time positions in African universities and aimed at promoting Africa-focused research and teaching at Yale and on the continent.
