ICGEB SMART Fellowships for Early-Career Researchers

The SMART Fellowship programme supports research mobility for early-career scientists among ICGEB Member States. It enables hands-on training in advanced technologies and international collaboration in the life sciences. Fellowships last 3 to 9 months and include a stipend, health insurance, international travel, and a bench fee for the host lab.

National of an ICGEB Member State; must be a registered PhD student or have obtained a PhD within the last 5 years; MSc holders eligible; actively working in a research institution; mobility between two ICGEB Member States.

Create an account on the ICGEB Service Gateway, access the SMART Fellowship guidelines and form, complete all sections, and upload required documents including CVs, publication list, lab CV, passport copy, contact details, and references.
