UCLG ASPAC International Essay Competition 2025: Call for Youth and Journalists

The United Cities and Local Governments Asia-Pacific (UCLG ASPAC) invites submissions for its International Essay Competition 2025, under the 10th UCLG ASPAC Congress. The competition aims to inspire ideas about sustainable, self-sufficient cities and regions, with specific sub-topics and prizes for youth and journalists. Winners may be invited to a virtual gathering during the UCLG ASPAC Congress.

Prize money for winners in each category and an invitation to a virtual Winners Gathering during the UCLG ASPAC Congress.

Open to Youth aged 15–25 from any country and to accredited journalists from any country.

Submit an English-language essay (up to 1,000 words, excluding name and title) via the official submission form.
