Paid EU Traineeships 2025: Launch Your International Career with the European Defence Agency

The European Defence Agency invites recent graduates to participate in a 12-month Traineeship Programme. Trainees work in a range of directorates and units, gaining hands-on experience in European defence policy, capability development, and international cooperation. The programme provides a structured placement with a monthly grant and related allowances.

Citizens of a participating Member State; have completed at least a three-year higher education course by the deadline; proficient in at least two languages including English; field of study aligned with the activities of the Directorate or Unit; able to obtain a Personnel Security Clearance; must not have previously held a traineeship or employment of more than six weeks in another EU institution or body.
