European Capital of Innovation Awards (iCapital)

The European Capital of Innovation Awards (iCapital) is a competition recognising cities for excellence in innovation. It awards substantial prizes to winning cities and runners-up, with winners gaining exposure and networking opportunities through the iCapital alumni network. The awards are offered by the European Commission for cities located in EU Member States or Associated Countries to Horizon Europe.

Monetary prize to the winner and runners-up; membership in the iCapital Alumni network.

The candidate towns and cities must be located in one of the EU Member States or Associated Countries to Horizon Europe.

Cities must submit an application as part of the competition by the stated deadline.
