Blue Book Traineeships for University Graduates

The European Commission offers a five-month in-service training period for university and VET graduates, open to nationals of EU member states or candidate countries. The traineeships start on 1 March and 1 October each year, and include a monthly grant plus allowances for meals, transport, accommodation and general travel; a disability allowance of up to 50% of the monthly grant is available for eligible participants.

Open to nationals of EU member states or candidate countries; applicants must have completed a standard 3-year higher education degree (Bachelor’s level) or equivalent; no prior work experience of more than 6 weeks in EU institutions; language proficiency in English, French or German at high levels, and a second official EU language at least at B2 for non-EU nationals.
