Bourse de Gestion des Urgences de Sanitaires en Afrique

The Bourse de Gestion des Urgences de Sanitaires en Afrique is a fully funded training programme for mid-career African public health professionals. It provides standardized training, mentorship, practical experience, and an attached technical assistance program inspired by US CDC’s PHEM fellowship design. Fellows participate in in-person and online learning, field deployments across Africa, study visits to COUSPs, and a final project with certification upon completion.

Open to mid-career African public health professionals who have experience in managing health emergency operations centers or in programs for preparedness and response to emergencies, and who are citizens of AU Member States with a postgraduate degree in public health or a related field.
