DAAD Scholarship in Integrated Urbanism and Sustainable Design (IUSD)

The DAAD Scholarship in Integrated Urbanism and Sustainable Design (IUSD) is a double-master degree program hosted by the University of Stuttgart (Germany) and Ain Shams University (Egypt). It targets young professionals in architecture, urbanism, landscape architecture and regional planning, with possible eligibility for graduates from related fields who have relevant work experience. The program covers four semesters with first year in Stuttgart and second year in Cairo, and includes joint supervision of the master thesis in the fourth semester, with EPOS funding supporting the duration of the course and travel between the two countries.

Full EPOS scholarship covering program duration; travel between Germany and Egypt; participation in a joint master program and supervision of the master thesis.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in architecture, urbanism, landscape architecture or regional planning, or related fields with demonstrated relevant professional experience; candidates from other domains with pertinent experience may be considered, but must provide evidence of relevant work experience.
