Brandon Research Fellowship 2026–2027

The Brandon Research Fellowship 2026–2027 is a research fellowship hosted by the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law at the University of Cambridge. It provides a research base within Cambridge’s legal research ecosystem, offering access to specialized legal resources and integration within the university environment. It is designed for visiting researchers in international law and is not a fully funded fellowship, with no typical coverage of tuition, travel, or living expenses.

Access to the Lauterpacht Centre facilities, interaction with leading academics, attendance at weekly lectures and work-in-progress seminars, and potential access to the Squire Law Library and the wider University Library system.

Open to international students and researchers working in the field of international law; applicants are expected to submit a research proposal and have a strong academic background, often at PhD or postdoctoral level, with two academic references.
