Bourses de doctorat de coopération de l'ULB

The Bourses de doctorat de coopération de l'ULB is a mobility scholarship programme from the Université Libre de Bruxelles to support doctoral researchers and research stays by researchers from partner institutions in the Global South. Selected candidates are hosted in ULB laboratories to carry out doctoral research or post-doctoral research stays and gain access to ULB research infrastructures. The programme aims to strengthen academic and scientific capacity of partner institutions and to develop sustainable research collaborations.

International return travel; per diem for living expenses during the stay in Belgium; access to ULB research infrastructures and laboratories; hosting within ULB laboratories.

Applicants must be nationals and exclusive residents of one of the 31 official partner countries of ULB cooperation; must be registered in a doctoral programme or be a researcher/teacher at a partner institution; must propose a research project aligned with development or institutional strengthening themes; and must obtain the agreement of a ULB research supervisor.

Identify eligible ULB laboratories via the doctoral catalogue; secure agreement from a ULB research supervisor; submit a complete application dossier via the ULB cooperation portal before the deadline.
