African Union 7th Congress of African Economists 2025 — Papers

The African Union invites researchers, academics, practitioners, policymakers, and students to submit original, evidence-based papers for the 7th Congress of African Economists (CAE) scheduled for 10–12 November 2025 in Libreville, Gabon. The call focuses on infrastructure investing, financing, quality, and sustainability, with opportunities for publication of top papers in AU‑related journals and conference proceedings.

Publication of top three articles in the African Integration and Development Review; top articles may be published in the Acts of the Congress; potential coverage of participation costs for a subset of authors.

Open to researchers, academics, practitioners, consultants, scholars, policy makers and university students at the Master’s degree or doctoral studies levels, with emphasis on young researchers from the continent and the diaspora.

Submit a full paper with an abstract no more than 250 words by 5 September 2025 via the African Union Commission to the provided emails.
