The IEB Doctoral Scholarships in Economics is an international PhD program in economics offered by the Institute of Economics of Barcelona (IEB) in partnership with the Universitat de Barcelona. It funds doctoral studies in economics, with a stipend and coverage of tuition and travel for conferences. The selected candidate will conduct research under supervision within UB’s Economics faculty in Barcelona, Spain.

Applicants must have completed a master's degree in economics and must be from one of the eligible countries listed (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Venezuela).
