ITU AI for Early Warnings for All Innovation Challenge 2025

The ITU AI for Early Warnings for All Innovation Challenge 2025 is a global hackathon that invites individuals and teams to develop AI solutions to improve early warning systems for disasters and extreme weather. Finalists will gain mentorship and present at the AI for Good Global Summit 2025 in Geneva, connecting with UN agencies and AI experts. The challenge focuses on four areas including AI for data gaps, forecasting and impact-based prediction, societal impacts of AI, and emergency preparedness and resource optimization.

Finalists will gain mentorship and technical guidance from AI experts and UN specialists, and present at the AI for Good Global Summit 2025 with opportunities for further collaboration.

Open to individuals and teams (maximum of 6 per team) from various backgrounds.
