Richard Lounsbery Award

The Richard Lounsbery Award is a prize awarded in alternate years by the National Academy of Sciences and the French Académie des Sciences to recognize extraordinary scientific achievement in biology and medicine by young scientists. The award carries a $75,000 prize and aims to stimulate research and reciprocal scientific exchanges between the United States and France.
