SKAPA Prize

The SKAPA Prize is Sweden’s largest innovation award that supports inventors and entrepreneurs in developing their ideas. Regional winners from each county are selected to receive a regional award and advance to a national final. National winners receive monetary prizes and recognition at an award ceremony held in Stockholm. The award is sponsored by the SKAPA Foundation with regional organisation handled by local hosts such as Dalarna Science Park.

Monetary prizes (regional winners 10,000 SEK; national prizes including 500,000 SEK and up to 250,000 SEK for young innovators), advancement from regional to national finals, presentation and recognition at award ceremonies.

Regional juries select county candidates who advance to the national jury.
