Bioeconomy challenges in the Amazon region

The Bioeconomy challenges in the Amazon region is a tailor-made Climathon organized by Youth Climate Leaders and UNLEASH. It brings together young people to prototype solutions addressing bioeconomic challenges, forest conservation, and local sustainability in the Amazon during a two-day virtual event on October 2 and October 9, 2021. Finalists gain access to a networking platform and additional benefits after the event.

Finalists gain access to the YCL network platform for 1 year, a coupon for a discount on the YCL course, and additional benefits offered by the UNLEASH network.

Open to young people between 18 and 35 who are passionate about sustainability; priority given to individuals born or living in the Amazon region.

Participants apply as an Idea Leader or Idea Contributor.
