Evidence Summary – Micro- and Nanoplastics

A funded project to produce a systematic review of research on micro- and nanoplastics (MNP) with the aim of identifying which plastic polymers and plastic-associated chemicals pose the greatest risk to the Norwegian environment. The review will link occurrence, exposure and effects and produce a prioritised ranking of polymers and associated chemicals to inform regulation and measures. The final delivery will include a report and a summary for decision-makers and may be published in peer-reviewed literature.
