Energo-Pro Georgia Open Grant Competition for Scholarship (Phase II)

The Energo-Pro Georgia Open Grant Competition for Scholarship (Phase II) awards monthly scholarships to students enrolled in vocational programmes in technical specialties such as electrician and welder. Scholarship recipients receive a monthly stipend during their full course of study and are offered a 1–3 month internship at Energo-Pro Georgia regional service centres with potential employment opportunities after the internship. Candidates are selected through a grant competition including submission of application materials and an interview. The project targets youth from various regions of Georgia to promote vocational education and subsequent employment at Energo-Pro Georgia.

Monthly stipend of 150 GEL during studies; 1–3 month internship/traineeship at Energo-Pro Georgia regional centres; potential employment after internship.

Applicants must be Georgian citizens aged between 17 and 35 at the time of application, have passed the vocational testing organized by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, hold or obtain vocational student status in specified specialties (electrician, welder or similar) at one of the listed vocational colleges, and have basic knowledge of English and/or Russian.

Candidates must pass the national vocational test, enroll in an eligible vocational programme, submit an application form and motivation letter by email or in person to Energo-Pro Georgia addresses, and attend an interview; winners sign individual contracts.
