AITHYRA International PhD Call in AI for Biomedicine

The AITHYRA International PhD in AI for Biomedicine is a doctoral recruitment run by AITHYRA, the Research Institute for Biomedical Artificial Intelligence of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna. It seeks PhD students with machine learning and AI backgrounds, life-science backgrounds, or mixed backgrounds (for example MDs with interest in AI). The call for PhD students will open in September 2026.

Applicants may be machine learning and AI scientists (no biological background required), life scientists (no computational background required), or students with a mixed background (e.g. MDs with interest in AI and/or life sciences).
