Daniel and Helen Gauchat Port Macquarie Award for Rural Medical Students

The Daniel and Helen Gauchat Port Macquarie Award for Rural Medical Students is a scholarship for students commencing the Bachelor of Medical Studies-Doctor of Medicine (BMed/MD) at the UNSW Rural Clinical School in Port Macquarie. It is targeted at students classified as rural or remote and who are residing at Forster House. Recipients are selected on academic merit, leadership, extracurricular activities and aptitude and commitment to studies.

Applicants must be commencing the BMed/MD at the UNSW Rural Clinical School in Port Macquarie, be classified as rural or remote, be applying to or have an offer to undertake full-time study in the first year of the BMed/MD at UNSW, and be residing at Forster House.
