The Emirates Literature Foundation invites students in the United Arab Emirates to submit handwritten letters on a given theme for the 2027 Letter Writing Competition. Participants compete across age categories for prizes such as book vouchers, author meet-and-greet opportunities, and event access during Emirates LitFest 2027.

Open to students residing in the United Arab Emirates, aged 8 to 18, enrolled in school or homeschooled, submitting original handwritten entries.

Submit a handwritten letter (200–400 words) on the theme “Heroes” following formatting guidelines and the entry must be in Arabic or English; entries are scanned and uploaded as PDF.
