Institute for Human Sciences Fellowships

The Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) in Vienna offers research fellowships in social and humanities disciplines. The programme provides 3- to 6-month residency in Vienna with research work conducted at the institute, including an office workspace, meals, and travel support. Special emphasis is given to projects focusing on Central and Eastern Europe history, democracy, societal transformations, and geopolitics.

Open to doctoral and postdoctoral researchers in social sciences or humanities.
