Trustworthy Generative AI in Healthcare Scholarship 2027

The Trustworthy Generative AI in Healthcare Scholarship 2027 is a fully funded PhD studentship at King's College London focused on trustworthy generative AI for healthcare, including multimodal large language models, uncertainty-aware AI and 3D medical imaging. The studentship is hosted by the Centre for Oral, Clinical & Translational Sciences in the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences, with supervision from named academics and access to resources across the university. The position is full-time for a duration of three years with multiple possible start dates in 2027.

Tuition fees covered at home or international rate; UKRI London-rate stipend; full-time studentship for 3 years; supervision and access to university research resources.

Open to Home and Overseas applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or similar with a First Class or good Upper Second Class Honours (or equivalent). Applicants should have relevant research experience and publication record in machine learning, computer vision, NLP or uncertainty quantification.
