FORESTPathways 2026 Joint Call

The FORESTPathways 2026 Joint Call is an international, co-funded research and innovation call under the FOREST Partnership to support collaborative projects that accelerate the transition to a sustainable forest bioeconomy. The call targets research across four main topics: climate‑resilient forest systems; adaptive and multifunctional forest management systems; timber and innovative wood‑based products; and forest value chains, markets, and governance. Only international projects with a consortium are eligible and applications are submitted via the FOREST Electronic Submission and Evaluation System. Projects involving partners from Türkiye must also submit a parallel national application to TÜBİTAK.

Support for collaborative research and innovation projects (project funding under the FOREST Partnership and, for Turkish participants, support via TÜBİTAK 1071 International Collaboration Projects Support Program).

Only international projects are eligible; a consortium must be established and the international application completed through the FOREST Electronic Submission and Evaluation System. Projects involving partners from Türkiye must also submit a separate national application to TÜBİTAK via the PBS system using an e-signature.

Submit an international application through the FOREST Electronic Submission and Evaluation System (two‑stage call); Turkish participants must also submit a national application via the TÜBİTAK UİDB PBS with electronic signature by the national deadline.
