Kean University Group Summer Scholars Research Program (GSSRP)

The Kean University Group Summer Scholars Research Program (GSSRP) is an immersive STEM research experience for high school students. Participants work with Kean University faculty and research staff on projects in areas such as scientific computation, cancer biology, machine learning, developmental biology and modern drug discovery. The program runs for multiple weeks and requires a commitment from participants; housing and transportation are not provided.

Participation in hands-on STEM research activities and exposure to university-level research environments (no explicit stipend or accommodation provided).

Current high school students in grades 10–12 who are sophomores, juniors or seniors and can commit to the full program.

Submit a letter of interest, a recommendation from a high school math or science teacher and a transcript; complete the application for the program.
