Fields Undergraduate Summer Research Program (FUSRP) 2027

The Fields Undergraduate Summer Research Program (FUSRP) is a competitive summer research programme that matches small teams of undergraduate students with faculty, visiting scientists, or industry researchers for a focused mathematical research experience. The 2027 cohort runs from June 1 to July 31 with projects hosted at the Fields Institute (Toronto, ON) and Western University (London, ON). The programme includes mentorship, workshops, a graduate school panel, presentation clinic, and final presentations.

Research placement with faculty/mentors, mentorship, travel and on-site expenses covered (most), workshops, graduate school panel, presentation clinic, final presentation opportunity.

Supervisor/project-proposal submissions via online form (deadline 2026-10-18). Student application form to open on 2026-11-02; applicants will apply through the Fields Institute application form when launched.
