Science Olympiad Summer Workshops

The Science Olympiad Summer Workshops are a set of professional-development workshops for Science Olympiad coaches, Event Supervisors, tournament personnel and administrators. The program in July 2026 includes a three-day Virtual Event Bootcamp (online), a two-day Content Clinic (in-person, Naperville, IL) and a 2.5-day Build Clinic (in-person, Naperville, IL). Workshops provide instruction on the upcoming season's events, early access to rules, hands-on activities, networking with Event Supervisors, and coaching resources. These offerings are intended for middle- and high-school coaches and other Science Olympiad staff rather than students.

Access to instructional videos and 12 hours of live virtual instruction (Virtual Bootcamp), hard copy of the 2027 Science Olympiad Rules, hands-on building materials (in-person clinics), WiFi and facilities access, Science Olympiad gift, breakfasts and lunches for in-person clinics, and access to coaching and instructional resources. Networking with Event Supervisors and experts.

All Science Olympiad middle and high school teachers, coaches, Event Supervisors, tournament personnel and administrators are invited to attend. The events are not for students.

Register via the online registration forms linked on the Science Olympiad website; limited scholarships require completion of a separate application form.
