Lituanistinės studijos is a short, intensive Lithuanian-language and pedagogical study programme for teachers from foreign Lithuanian schools. The Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania provides funding for state scholarships for these studies. The programme aims to deepen participants' Lithuanian language skills and to develop didactics and educational psychology competencies, as well as provide knowledge about Lithuanian culture, history and contemporary life. The planned duration of studies is 15 calendar days.

State scholarship-funded participation in a 15-calendar-day intensive programme providing Lithuanian language tuition, didactics and educational psychology training, and courses on Lithuanian culture, history and contemporary life.

Teachers who work in foreign Lithuanian (lituanist) schools with preschool or school-age children and/or adults. Target groups are defined as emigrants (Lithuanian citizens living abroad for at least 3 years, or former Lithuanian citizens) and foreigners of Lithuanian descent (at least one parent or grandparent was/is Lithuanian) who identify as Lithuanian.

Applications are submitted to the organising universities; candidates should consult the contact persons at the listed universities. Applicants may apply to only one university organising the studies.
