Student Researcher – Emergent Capabilities of Video Models

The Google DeepMind Student Researcher position is a six-month, paid research internship for PhD researchers to study emergent capabilities of video models, with on-site work in Zurich. The project focuses on video-generation and multimodal models, exploring capabilities such as visual intelligence and reasoning, under the guidance of Google DeepMind researchers. The role includes working with advanced AI systems and contributing to research outputs, with an expression-of-interest deadline in late October 2026 and an on-site start window in early 2027.
