British Academy/Leverhulme Small Research Grants 2025

The BA/Leverhulme Small Research Grants provide funding to support primary research in the humanities and social sciences. Grants up to £10,000 are available, tenable for up to 24 months, to cover the expenses arising from a defined research project and may include support for planning, direct research costs, dissemination, workshops or visits.

Grants up to £10,000 over 1-24 months to cover direct research costs and related activities; supports planning, dissemination and collaboration.

Open to postdoctoral scholars (or equivalent) ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom. Applications may be made by independent scholars, and co-applicants may be from anywhere in the world, with a UK-based lead applicant.
