Breakthrough Solutions and Cost-Disruptive Innovations for Screening and Diagnosis (Grand Challenges India RFP)

The Breakthrough Solutions and Cost-Disruptive Innovations for Screening and Diagnosis is a Request for Proposals launched by Grand Challenges India (Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council) to support transformative, ultra-low-cost screening and diagnostic tools. The programme seeks novel, near point-of-care and low-incremental-cost solutions with target price points around INR100 (approximately US$1) per test or devices with negligible incremental cost per use. It is interested in high-risk, high-reward innovations across maturity levels, from early concepts to mid- and late-stage adaptation, prioritizing affordability, scalability and deployability in India.

This RFP is specific to India-based researchers; collaborations are strongly encouraged where relevant within the scope of study.
