The Europeanisation of the Universities: Transforming Knowledge Institutions, c. 1985–2010

A seminar on changes in European and global research and higher education from a history of knowledge perspective. The presentation is given by Johan Östling (LUCK, Lund University) with comments by Marja Jalava (Tampere University) and moderated by Stefan Nygård (University of Helsinki). The event is organised by the Finnish Society of Sciences and Letters and is part of the 'History of Science in Finland' project; it is held in-person at the Society's office and streamed live online.
