Emerald Publishing Africa & Middle East Case Writing Competition 2024

Applications are open for the Emerald Publishing Africa & Middle East Case Writing Competition 2024. It invites authors based at African or Middle Eastern higher education institutions to submit teaching cases focused on emerging markets in their region. The competition aims to develop high-quality teaching case material relevant to dynamic economies in Africa, the Middle East, Türkiye, and Pakistan, and to promote case-writing capabilities in those regions. Prizes total $2,000, with $1,000 to the winner and $500 to each of two runners up; selected cases may be published in the EMCS collection after peer review.

Case authors must be based at higher education institutions in Africa, the Middle East, Türkiye, or Pakistan and the case should be a real teaching case focused on an emerging market.
