Stipendium für Dissertationen (GÖCH & ÖAW)

The Stipendium für Dissertationen is an annual scholarship awarded by the GÖCH and the Austrian Academy of Sciences to support completion of a doctoral dissertation in the field of chemistry. It provides a monetary award of €10,000 intended to assist doctoral candidates, in particular those planning a research stay abroad. The scholarship targets young, highly qualified doctoral researchers conducting their PhD at an Austrian university and nearing completion of their dissertation.

Young, highly qualified doctoral candidates (GÖCH members) in all areas of chemistry who are conducting their PhD at an Austrian university, began their doctoral studies no more than three years before the submission date, and are expected to require no more than twelve further months to complete their dissertation.
