Mathematics in Industry Study Group (MISG) 2025

The Mathematics in Industry Study Group (MISG) 2025 is a full-time, one-week workshop focused on solving well-defined challenges from industry and government using applied mathematics. The event brings together participants to work on project challenges provided by partner organisations, offering practical experience with industrial problems and networking opportunities across academia and industry. The 2025 workshop runs 10–14 February 2025 at Monash University in Melbourne.

Free participation and catering; opportunity to work on real industry/government problems and network with partners and peers.

Participants from academia and industry with an interest in applied mathematics and industrial problem solving are invited to take part; attendees are asked to commit to the full week where possible.
