Thông tin

The Cultivating the Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) Research Grants are a programme of short- and long-term research grants and related fellowships to support scholars in the humanities and social sciences in under-represented regions of South and Southeast Asia. The four-year initiative, coordinated by the Association for Asian Studies with support from Sweden, aims to enhance research capacity among scholars located in economically disadvantaged and conflict-affected areas. The programme supports projects in disciplines such as history, philosophy, languages, literature, anthropology, economics, law, politics, sociology and related fields, and includes targeted opportunities such as the Scholars in Residence Fellowship and the AAS–Forest Foundation Philippines program grants.
