Fulbright U.S.–ASEAN Visiting Scholar Initiative 2027–2028: Research Fellowship in the United States for Academics and Professionals

The Fulbright U.S.–ASEAN Visiting Scholar Initiative is a short-term research and professional exchange programme that enables established academics and professionals to undertake research or approved scholarly activities at U.S. host institutions for up to four months in early 2028. It aims to promote U.S.–ASEAN regional understanding and collaboration through projects addressing regional issues and the U.S.–ASEAN relationship.

Established academics and professionals whose work focuses on issues relevant to U.S.–ASEAN relations; university faculty members, researchers, and government officials are among eligible groups depending on country requirements.
