The Aera Africa Internship Program (2025)

The AERC Internship Programme offers recent postgraduates an opportunity to gain workplace experience in research, policy making and capacity building. Internships run for 3 to 6 months and aim to develop and prepare graduates for employment opportunities in research, policy making and capacity-building institutions. Eligible interns will receive a monthly stipend and may participate in an official AERC assignment.

Applicants must have a Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Agricultural Economics, Development Studies, Mathematics, Governance and Knowledge Management, General Support Services, ICT, or related fields; must be within one year of degree and Kenyan citizen or have legal right to work in Kenya; proficiency in English (additional language skills are an advantage).
