The Arab Documentary Photography Program 2024

The Arab Documentary Photography Program 2024 is a grants program run by the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) in partnership with the Prince Claus Fund and Magnum Foundation. It provides selected Arab-region documentary photographers with a grant to develop their projects, mentorship from program mentors, and participation in specialized workshops over a 10-month period. Photographers may apply in English or Arabic, and the program supports critical and socially engaged local stories from the Arab world.

Grant of $7,000, mentorship from program mentors, attendance at three specialized workshops (two in-person, one virtual).

Open to documentary photographers working with creative practices in the Arab world who transmit critical and socially engaged local stories.
