Tokyo Arts and Space International Creators Residency Programme 2026–2027 in Japan

Tokyo Arts and Space International Creators Residency Programme 2026–2027 invites international artists, curators, designers, filmmakers, researchers and related creatives to live and work in Tokyo. The program offers multi-month residency options with opportunities to develop projects, collaborate with others, and present work in Japan. Selected participants receive housing, studio space, travel support, living allowances, and project grants depending on the residency track.

Free accommodation in Tokyo; shared studio space; round-trip economy airfare; daily living allowance; creative/project grants (amounts vary by track); accommodation support for Research Residency.

Applicants must be international creators or researchers who are actively working in relevant artistic or cultural fields and able to live and work in Tokyo.
