Canadian International Development Scholarships 2030 (BCDI 2030) – Study & Training in Canada for Global Development

The Canadian International Development Scholarships 2030 (BCDI 2030) is an international scholarship initiative funded by Global Affairs Canada to support higher education and professional development for students from 26 developing partner countries. It aims to strengthen social and economic development in scholars’ home countries by providing study or training opportunities in Canada, along with related professional development. The program spans multiple streams, including studies in Canada and customized training and professional development.

Tuition and educational fees; access to study or training opportunities; professional skill development and mentorship; support for research, internships, or practicum experiences; academic credentials upon completion.

Applicants must be citizens of one of the 26 partner countries and must apply through approved partnerships between Canadian institutions and partner institutions; additional criteria are specified by participating projects.

Applicants cannot apply directly to BCDI 2030. Scholarships are awarded through collaborative programmes developed between Canadian universities or colleges and partner institutions; prospective applicants should contact their local higher education institution for details on available opportunities.
